Eranshahr is a research and production studio dedicated to making the foundations of Iranian culture, history, and mythology accessible to a global audience. We uncover, organize, and reinterpret cultural knowledge and share it through our books, games, visual projects, and online platforms.
Goal
The goal of Eranshahr is simple:
to open the doors of Iranian heritage to anyone who seeks it.
Through clear explanations, accessible storytelling, and beautifully designed products, we aim to preserve cultural memory and make it easy for future generations to engage with Iranian history.
Method
Eranshahr operates through a volunteer based research collective. Our team gathers virtually from around the world to document, visualize, and translate different aspects of Iranian culture including mythology, folklore, history, language, and art.
About twenty active volunteers form the core research and operations group. Over the years, hundreds of additional contributors have helped build and refine our open source cultural archives and digital projects.
Our Timeline
Eranshahr began as a passion project in 2020, rooted in the belief that Iranian culture deserves modern, high quality representation.
In 2023 it became a registered Limited Liability Company in the state of Missouri, founded and operated by Mohammad Rasoulipour.
In 2025, Eranshahr became a registered trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Our Financial Model
Eranshahr is self funded and independent. The company began with the founder’s personal seed investment and is sustained entirely through the sale of the products we create, including books, games, and other cultural goods available in our Gift Shop.
We do not accept donations, grants, or external funding, which ensures complete neutrality and freedom from political or institutional influence.
All revenue is reinvested into:
creation of new books, games, and physical products
expansion of access to cultural research
advertisement of physical producs and digital projects
maintenance and improvement of company operations
