در باور مردمان منطقه‌ی چاهشولی استان فارس جنی به نام «دیوخان» وجود دارد. روایت است که این جن، قدی کوتاه مانند کودکان و گوش‌هایی دراز دارد. «دیوخان» با این گوش‌ها به حرف‌های هر کسی که غیبت کند گوش می‌دهد و شب برای قتل او می‌آید.

In Chahshooli, the Fars province, there is a mythical demon believed to be called Deev Khaan.

Deev Khaan is very short, like a child, but has very long ears that enable him to hear people gossiping behind other people's backs. He identifies those gossipers and during the night, he will find and kill them!
