هیشوی در ابتدای «داستان گشتاسپ و کتابون» گشتاسپ را از راه دریا به روم رساند.
بعدتر گشتاسپ به نزد او بازگشت و در خانهی او ماند.
اهرن و میرین در ماجرای خواستگاریهای دختران قیصر روم از طریق هیشوی با گشتاسپ دیدار میکنند.
هیشوی در زمان حضور گشتاسپ در روم همواره در کنار او است و همچون یک پیشکار به کارهای او رسیدگی میکند.

Hishoui was a Roman sailor who was always by Goshtasp’s side during his time in Rome.
At the beginning of the story “Goshtasp and Katayoun,” Hishoui brought Goshtasp to Rome by sea.
Later, Goshtasp returned to him and stayed at his house.
Ahran and Mirin met Goshtasp through Hishoui during the events surrounding the proposals for the daughters of the Roman emperor.
Throughout Goshtasp’s stay in Rome, Hishoui remained constantly at his side, attending to his needs like a servant.
