جهن پسر افراسیاب بود. از او در داستان سیاوش تنها در بازی چوگان میان سیاوش و افراسیاب یاد شده. او در جریان جنگ بزرگ کیخسرو اما نقش محوری دارد و یکی از سرداران اصلی توران در این جنگ است.
توضیحات تکمیلی: در شاهنامه دستنویس کتابخانه ملی فلورانس چند بیت در انتهای پادشاهی کیخسرو آمده که کیخسرو پس از سپردن پادشاهی به لهراسپ جهن را پادشاه توران می‌کند اما خالقی‌مطلق این ابیات را الحاقی دانسته و آنها را در پاورقی آورده.

Jahn was Afrasiab's son. In the story of Siavash, he was only mentioned during the Polo game between Siavash and Afrasiab. But during the great war of Kaykhosrow, he has a crucial role as a Turanian warlord.

P.S In the handwritten version of Shahname, which is held in Florence National Central Library, there are some additional verses added to the end of Kaykhosrow's reign. Within these verses, Kaykhosrow chooses Lohrasp as the king of Iran, and Jahn as the king of Turan. But Khaleghi Motlagh's edition suggests that these verses have been added to The Book in later times, so he has mentioned them in footnote.
