واسونک به آوازهای مردمی شیراز و سایر نقاط استان فارس گفته می‌شود. این ترانه‌ها معمولا در مایه‌‌ی «شوشتری» هستند و در مراحل مختلف ازدواج، از خواستگاری تا عروسی، خوانده می‌شوند.ترانه‌ی زیر از معروف‌ترینِ این آواز‌هاست که بار‌ها بازخوانی شده است:                                                                                                                 جینگ و جینگ ساز میاد و از بالای شیراز میادشازده دوماد غم نخور که نومزادت با ناز میادشازده دوماد شازده دوماد این‌قدر آبی نپوشپیرهن آبی درار و رخت دومادی بپوشیار مبارک بادا ایشالا مبارک بادایار مبارک بادا ایشالا مبارک بادا

Vasounak refers to the folk songs of Shiraz (south-central Iran) and other parts of Fars province.
