کُهرَم پسر ارجاسپ بود که حملهی تورانیان به بلخ را رهبری کرد و در آخر به دست اسفندیار کشته شد.
کهرم پسر ارجاسپ (در برخی ابیات برادر) بود. او در جنگ نخست ارجاسپ با گشتاسپ سپهدار یکی از جناحهای سپاه توران بود.
پس از آنکه جنگ نخست به پایان رسید گشتاسپ به اسفندیار بدگمان شد و او را دربند کرد. همین اتفاق به ارجاسپ انگیزه داد تا بار دیگر به ایران یورش آورد. پس، لشکری به کهرم سپرد و فرمان داد تا به بلخ حمله کند. در این حمله لُهراسپ که از پادشاهی کناره گرفتهبود و در آتشکدهی نوبهار بلخ مشغول عبادت بود کشته شد و همای و بهآفرید اسیر شدند.
پس از این جنگی دسگر میان این دو پادشاه درگرفت که در آن کهرم جناح چپ لشکر توران را رهبری میکرد. فرشیدورد یکی از برادران اسفندیار در این جنگ به دست کهرم کشته شد.
اسفندیار با فرمان گشتاسپ از بند رها شد و با شنیدن خبر کشته شدن فرشیدورد به جنگ ارجاسپ آمد. در طی این جنگ در کار لشکر توران شکست افتاد و ارجاسپ عقبنشینی کرد.
اسفندیار در داستان هفتخوان از مسیری سخت خود را به روییندژ رساند و خواهرانش را آزاد کرد و انتقام خون فرشیدورد را از کهرم گرفت و وی را از میان برداشت.

Kohram, son of Arjaasp, led the fierce Turanian assault on Balkh but ultimately fell to the mighty Esfandiyar’s wrath. In some verses, he is referred to as a brother of Arjaasp. He commanded one of the factions of the Turanian army during the first war against Goshtasp.
After the first battle concluded, suspicion arose in Goshtasp's heart towards Esfandiyar, resulting in his imprisonment. This ignited within Arjaasp a fierce desire to once again invade Iran. He entrusted a formidable army to Kohram with orders to attack Balkh. During this assault, Lohraasp, who had renounced the throne and was worshipping at the fire temple of Nobahar in Balkh, was slain, and the noble Homay and the beautiful Behafarid were taken captive.
In the aftermath, a fierce battle erupted between these two kings, with Kohram leading the left flank of the Turanian forces. In this conflict, Farshidvard, one of Esfandiyar's brothers, met his fate at the hands of Kohram.
Following an order from Goshtasp, Esfandiyar was freed from his shackles. Upon learning of Farshavard's death, he took up arms against Arjaasp. In this confrontation, a great defeat befell the Turanian ranks, forcing Arjaasp to retreat.
In the legendary tale of the Seven Labors, Esfandiyar traveled a perilous path to reach the Rouein Fort, where he liberated his sisters and avenged the blood of Farshavard by vanquishing Kohram from existence.
