بیدرفش سردار تورانی بود که در جنگ ارجاسپ با گشتاسپ زریر را کشت و به دست اسفندیار کشته شد.
زمانی که دو لشکر در برابر هم قرار گرفتند جنگ آغاز شد و دو هفته ادامه پیدا کرد. بسیاری از بزرگان دو طرف کشته شدند و شرایط هر روز سختتر میشد. روز پانزدهم زریر به دل آوردگاه زد و بسیاری از سرداران توران را از دم تیغ گذراند. ارجاسپ، پادشاه توران خواستار جنگجویی شد تا با زریر مقابله کند. پس از چندین بار بالاخره بیدرفش داوطلب شد و ارجاسپ شادمان به او ژوپینی زهرآلود داد.
بیدرفش که رزم زریر را دید دانست که نمیتواند با او رودررو شود. پس در گوشهای کمین کرد و با همان ژوپین زریر را کشت.
بعدتر بستور پسر زریر به کینخواهی پدرش به آوردگاه آمد و بسیاری را کشت تا اینکه ارجاسپ به بیدرفش دستور داد تا به نبرد بستور رود. آن دو که نبرد را آغاز کردند اسفندیار به بستور ملحق شد و در نهایت بیدرفش به دست اسفندیار کشته شد.

Biderafsh, the valiant commander of Turan, was known for his prowess, having slain Zarir in the fierce conflict against Goshtasp, only to meet his own end at the hands of Esfandiyar.
As the two armies stood opposed, the battle was ignited and raged on for a fortnight. Countless noble warriors from both sides fell, and the circumstances grew ever more dire with each passing day. On the fifteenth day, Zarir charged into the heart of the battlefield, cutting down many Turanian chieftains with a fierce resolve. Arjaasp, the king of Turan, called for a champion brave enough to face Zarir. After several pleas, Biderafsh at last stepped forward, and Arjaasp, filled with joy, bestowed upon him a poisoned javelin.
Observing the skill of Zarir, Biderafsh realized he could not confront him directly. Instead, he lay in wait in a shadowy corner and, with that very javelin, struck down Zarir. Later, Bastur, the son of Zarir, sought vengeance for his father and entered the fray, slaying many until Arjaasp commanded Biderafsh to engage Bastur in combat. As they clashed, Esfandiyar joined the battle alongside Bastur, and ultimately, it was Biderafsh who fell to the sword of Esfandiyar.
